Big News!

Guys!! I just cannot wait until the recap to share this news! I did it. I passed my nursing boards. After 4 years of intensive studies, long clinical hours, tears and laughter, life changing moments, 7 months of waiting for approval and studying, I FINALLY AM A NURSE! All glory to God! Thank you family, friends, all of you, and my incredible husband for the ENDLESS support.

Explanation for the picture above: I received this mug when I graduated, but said I wouldn’t drink anything out of it until I was officially a nurse. I have never been so excited to use a coffee cup in my life. My first thought when I received my license was “YES! I can finally drink out that darn mug now!!!!” 💊💉

I feel so blessed for each beautiful human I will have the privilage to care for, building relationships, and being a part of the extended hand of healing.

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend, and I can’t wait to catch up on blogging this week 💕

Xo

Mack

PS: This may be my only post ever without an absurd amount of food pics and that is shorter than a billion words 😂

      1. Formerly, yes, but I still carry with me all of the memories of the battle from the books to the bedside.. It will be a battle entering into the new territory from the desk to the practice. Like so many have said to me, “There is the NCLEX world, then there is real world!” But, you will grow in such amazing ways. I am excited for you!! 🙂

      2. Thank you for sharing this with me ! I know that especially the beginning is incredibly difficult. But I am excited to serve and take it all as it comes! Thank you for your sweet encouragement 💕 it’s always special to meet another nurse!

  12. Congratulations, and God’s Blessings as you serve Jesus by serving others daily. Your God inspired life, and use of the gifts God has given you, will bring Peace and Comfort to many who you encounter. George

  13. Nurses heal without a prescription
It’s not just disease they treat but they treat patients to get well instilling confidence and hope of life in them.

You are so lucky God chose for such a noble profession ..wishing you all the best.

I would also have been nurse in defence services …but I neglected my selection as wanted to be a Doctor ..but right now I am neither of these

    1. Awww! Thank you kiranmag. Wow- that is alll I want to do- is give people hope and healing in ways beyond physical! I am so thankful I have been called here too. What do you do now? You have such a nurturing nature that I’m sure you impact people and care for people no matter the profession 🙂

  14. I cried a lot when I had not been selected for MBBS profession in ARMED forces medical college ..I had also given an entrance exam for nursing course of the institute as I had the thrill of going to very remote places and serving the wounded soldiers.Though I received a selection call for the Nursing I just neglected it as I was very upset for not getting selected for the Doctors course. But right now I regret it. Had I had been in contact with a person like you it would have been different.

Right now I am pursuing Engineering course in Electronics and Telecommunications. I am in second year of graduation.

I am sure you will Definately share your experiences with patients by way of writing.

    1. I believe you are right where God wants you to be <3 It's never to late for nursing either. That's interesting how you said selected. How does that work? I am curious. I also look forward to sharing my journey through nursing. You all will be with me from the beginning of it all <3
